Halibut Point

Walk through the brambles of Halibut Point on Cape Ann.
On a summer day, you're likely to find a group of local people fishing
or fussing with their tackle.

Hiking in the Holy Land

It's a nice day in the wilderness of Galilee.
Meet Satan, AKA "The Tempter"… a bad hombre!

He's hiking in the wilderness with his new friend Jesus.
A good day for a hike!

The Moon Party

THE MOON IS FULL and we've been invited to an esoteric gathering of dodos who observe the glowing orb in the inky sky, drink plum wine and compose erudite verse. After the children go to bed, friendships are reaffirmed and their poetry renders the Past present and a comfortable stability and trust envelopes the group of flightless connoisseurs.

The moon and the poetry sail on through the night and one by one, the friends discover themselves stretching, yawning and waking up. No one remembers when they crossed that threshold from waking to dreaming. Today, they'll have an extra afternoon nap. Just like the glorified and waning moon.

Fod, drink!
The guests are arriving!
Fun for all ages!

watercolor book

I just finished a small 7 x 10 inch cold press Canson Watercolor wire-bound sketchbook. I usually work on more multi-purpose and, truth be told, quite indifferent sketchbook papers. This paper took the color better and allowed me to focus on different qualities in the painting process. So some new directions emerged and that's always good.
